I try to express what I feel about the human condition. Having seen poverty, especially in India, and because I am drawn to spiritual issues, my sculptures often reflect the human struggle as well as the spiritual quest. Some of my sculptures express the exuberance of dance, such as my sculpture of Jesus and Buddha dancing together. My next project will be a life size bronze.
I have my sculptures cast using the lost wax process, which requires many steps between the clay and the final patina. I cast in bronze because for me, bronze is so beautiful.
