This exhibition will be held at the gallery during March 2009, and there will be up to $500 in prizes awarded. Each entrant may submit up to two works and submissions must be delivered to the gallery in Ithaca (not shipped) by March 1 between the hours of 5:00-8:00pm or March 2, between 3:00-7:00pm. There is an entry fee of $30 which is non-refundable. All work should be current and original, ready to hang and have used a photographic process in the production. Entries may not have been submitted to SOAG in the past.
Wilka Roig, Asst. Professor of Photography at Cornell has agreed to be the “Prize Judge” for the exhibition.
This exhibition has become a very popular event in the central New York area both in terms of those who enter and those who come to view the show.
