Fire > WORKS

In their show Fire > WORKS: Color and Motion, artist Sheila Danko creates imaginary landscapes born of faded memories of time, place and emotional energy. These “landscapes of the mind” represent feelings and experiences associated with a sense of place rather than the specifics of a single place. By blending reality with abstraction, she hopes to create a sense of the familiar – a place once visited – allowing the viewers memories to merge with her own. Ray Foody explores ways in which art may be viewed as a life form.

The show will run from July 2 until August 2, 2026. There will be an opening reception Friday, July 3 from 5–8.
