Seeing the Forest for the Trees

Everyone knows what a tree looks like. But ask an artist, and you may be surprised by the result. Ask the members of the State of the Art Gallery, and you end up with the visual equivalent of music’s theme with variations, an entire gallery as a composition, each image standing on its own and simultaneously making its unique contribution to the whole. We invite you to come and see the forest for the trees.

In the companion exhibit, learn more about some of this art and these artists.

The gallery will be closed for the month of May for renovations. This show is online only.
