The Fine Arts Committee at Kendal At Ithaca invited our members to exhibit our art along their art walls. The exhibit will run from August 2 through October 31 and will be open for public viewing any day from 9

My acrylic paintings explore the intersection of space and memory, drawing from both representational and abstract traditions. Inspired by drawings, photos, plein air sketches, and my spur-of-the-moment imagination, I create landscapes that often have a surreal twist.

Katrina Morse, Patty Brown, and Carol Spence will be hosting Look Club at the gallery every second Sunday, 2–3
Katrina will be teaching two series of classes this fall. Each series has four sessions and will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca.

Austin has an exhibit Little Works, Unframed Sketches at The Frame Shop in Ithaca. The show runs September 7–30.
Barbara has three paintings on display at the Murphey Gallery in Tucson, Arizona. They are part of an exhibit of the Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona. The show runs September 1–October 3. She was also invited to join Fiber Artists of Southern Arizona, a professional group of artists who exhibit and promote textile-based artwork in a wide variety of styles.
Cindy is participating in an exhibit Modern Bouquets at Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, Delaware. The show runs September 6–28. The opening reception is September 6, 5–6:30 p.m.
Vincent Joseph and Ileen Kaplan have an exhibit Painterly: How Two Painters Make the Paint Tell the Story at the Dove Block Project in Geneva. The show runs September 5–28.
Hsiao-Pei is showing work in the 8th juried regional art exhibit, Everyday Life, Every Day Art, organized by Tioga Arts Council at Cloud Croft Studio in Owego. The show runs August 23 to September 27.
Carol will present her show, Balancing Act, at The Jewel Box in Ithaca, from September 1 to October 31, with a reception on First Friday, September 5, 5:00–7:00.
Nancy‘s show, Digital Discoveries, will be hosted at the Danby Gathery Art Works from September 4 to October 14. Hours are Sundays, 1:00–4:00. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, September 7, from 1:00–4:00, with free tastings of South Hill Cider.
