Interpreting Nature

August 2 through October 31

The Fine Arts Committee at Kendal At Ithaca invited our members to exhibit our art along their art walls. The exhibit will run from August 2 through October 31 and will be open for public viewing any day from 9 until 7.

On August 13, Eva Capobianco and Susan Larkin will give a presentation in the Kendal auditorium about their October show in the SOAG gallery. The public is invited to attend the 4:00 event, which will be followed by a reception with refreshments.

You can also view this show online.

Featured Artist: Austin MacRae

My acrylic paintings explore the intersection of space and memory, drawing from both representational and abstract traditions. Inspired by drawings, photos, plein air sketches, and my spur-of-the-moment imagination, I create landscapes that often have a surreal twist.
